Factory & quality

A clear supply chain with accountable quality control.

Our own factory, long-term partner factories, and the same inspection standard whichever one runs your order.

Buyers are usually told that a supplier has "a factory". The useful question is who actually makes the order, and who is accountable when something is wrong. This page answers both, and describes the inspection that happens before anything is packed.

Production model

How production is allocated

We have our own factory and also work with long-term partner factories. Which one runs a project depends on the style, construction, capacity and delivery date — and our own team stays accountable either way.

Our own factory

Part of our production runs in our own factory, which is also where our design and sample room, cutting, sewing, finishing and independent QC group work. Pattern making and sampling happen in the same building as the line that will produce the order.

A partner factory, coordinated by us

The order runs in a long-term partner factory from the pre-production sample onward. We coordinate the project, manage production and handle delivery, so you have one counterparty rather than several.

A partner factory, finished by us

The garments are made by a factory while we source the care labels, hangtags, packaging and embroidery pieces, then carry out finishing and final inspection ourselves.

We do not claim that every order is produced in our own factory, and we do not describe a partner factory's capability as ours. Our own team handles development, material coordination, finishing and quality management across both.

Team

The team behind an order

Our Ningbo team covers the whole path rather than only the sewing floor, which is why a decision does not have to travel between companies before it becomes a change on the line.

  • Design and sample room, including pattern making
  • Fabric warehousing and trim warehousing
  • Cutting
  • Sewing, with in-line quality checks
  • Finishing and packing
  • An independent QC group, separate from the sewing line

Quality control

What happens before goods are packed

Inspection is full rather than sampling-based: every piece is checked, and the approved pre-production sample is the standard it is checked against.

  • Inspection100% of pieces
  • AQLMajor 2.5 / Minor 4.0
  • Independent QCSeparate from the line
  • Third-partyAccepted

What is checked

  • Measurements checked against the approved sample
  • Workmanship and construction
  • Color consistency, including against the approved lab dip
  • Print and embroidery placement
  • Pressing and finishing, including loose threads and pressing marks
  • Trims, and the packing method

Compliance

Certification and testing

Requirements differ by brand and market, so the exact documentation depends on your order.

We meet the certification and testing requirements European buyers normally ask for, including BSCI, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, GOTS and ISO 9001.

Requirements differ by brand and by market, so tell us which standard or test report your order needs. We will confirm what applies to it and provide the documentation your compliance team needs before you commit.

Discuss Your Project
01Do you own your factory?

We have our own factory and also work with long-term partner factories. Which one runs a project depends on the style, construction, capacity and delivery date. We do not claim that every order is produced in our own factory.

02Who inspects the goods, and can we inspect them ourselves?

Our own QC team inspects every piece, and an independent QC group sits separately from the sewing line. You can also inspect the goods yourself, appoint a third-party inspection company, or ship directly. Third-party inspection is accepted.

03What is AQL and which level do you work to?

AQL stands for acceptable quality limit: a standard way of classifying defects so both sides judge a garment the same way. We apply AQL Major 2.5 and Minor 4.0 to defect classification, on top of full inspection rather than instead of it.

04Can you meet our compliance and certification requirements?

Yes. We meet the requirements European buyers normally ask for, including BSCI, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, GOTS and ISO 9001. Requirements differ by brand and market, so tell us which standard or test report your order needs and we will confirm what applies and provide the documentation.

05Where are you based?

Ningbo, in Zhejiang Province on China's east coast, with the production team in the Jiangbei District. We can share the details you need for your supplier onboarding once we are working together.
